• OK, I'm a bit late to post this as it was published late 2011. Sorry it's in French...

It's an article about Hwange and my first experiences there.

  • Last October, a French TV crew came to film us doing our job in the bush. they stay with us for nearly a month and were there during the big capture operation to deploy collars on elephants, buffaloes and zebras. They were even lucky enough to assist to a hyaena capture and collaring!!

    So here is the result:

Going out on the French TV screens!!

It's a great movie, in French (sorry...) that shows our daily work, but not daily routine for sure!!

Enjoy the show!! And let me know what you think!

PS: If you missed it, it can be seen for a week after goign on air on this website: http://pluzz.francetv.fr, clicke on the red 2 on the top left pannel.

  • No no,  I'm not talking about birds or ungulates, but of French researchers!! As the rains start to pour on Hwange, bringing the bush back to life, we usually go back to the cheese, bread and all the nice food country! Plus, it's the festive season and time to ski and enjoy the snow!!

For sure, I'll miss the bush and every one here very very much!! Actually more that I can say... But it's also time for me to start analysing all the data I have been collecting for the past 2 years. I've also been told I need to write a PhD manuscript, so I'd better get started!!

I'll aslo take that opportunity to do some post-prod work on my pics. So stay tuned, I'll post some of them here, and hopefully some will be accepted for publication in photography magazines!!

Here is one of my new projects...
