Black manes of the Kalahari, Kgalagadi NP
The Kgagaladi is well-known for it's black maned lions. Actually, you can find lions with black manes in many other places as it is just a darker coloration mostly due to aging.
In any case, the park leaved up to its name during our trips and we saw these beautiful cats quite often during our stay late August, mainly around waterholes.
