During this amazing week, we immobilized many animals including kudu, buffalo, eland, elephant, lion, white & black rhinos, giraffe, hippo in the water, wildebbests in plastic bomas and impalas in net boma, and of course the typical donkey! It was great fun!
Here are a few pictures from the giraffe capture after it was first immobilized. The guys are walking it, as if to put it in a truck for transport.
By the way, I passed the exam!

Here are 2 of the ele carcasses we found while checking clusters of GPS points from hyaena collars. These one still had the tusks, so we removed the ivory and took it back to Parks HQ in Main Camp, to be safely stored.

We saw 11 dogs at Ngweshla trying to catch kudus, was interesting!! Here are a few of them.
When you spend the night at an elephant carcass, you must expect everything, including a lionnes really attached to your car! She also came near us to take a nap.
